Wise Words / Proverbs

  • Do not believe in hearsay or holy tradition, neither in speculation or entrenched opinion nor the words of a high master. Only what you yourself have reviewed thoroughly and acknowledged to be of benefit for yourself and others is what should be accepted (Siddhartha Gautama).

  • The path is not straight, it is like a spiral. You repeatedly see things you thought you understood and see deeper truth.

  • Trusting is not about knowing things will turn out all right but knowing it to be all right no matter how things turn out.

  • "What direction should I go?" I asked my heart and it responded: "Be silent and listen. Open up and take your time. You do not have to find your way. Your way will find you."

  • Walk as far as you can see. Once you arrive, take it from there.
