In order to live on this planet we need money, except, we live somewhere in nature, far from any civilization and are self-caterers. However, as soon as we approach a town, we cannot directly help ourselves any more from nature, because we cannot drink water from the river or eat fruits from the trees or shoot a hare and sizzle it in the campfire.
We cannot move around freely, put up our tent wherever Mother Nature invites us to do so. In winter we need protection, warmth, and a roof over the head. Whether we like it or not, we need money. However, money alone is not enough. We also need a system that permits us to maintain the civilized life on this planet.
As long as we cannot or do not want to be self-sufficient we are at the mercy of some sort of system. If the system suddenly broke down one day or the other many people would die, only by the interruption of the food supply. At my place the garbage disposal did not show up this week. That was already quite bad. Not to imagine if they stopped coming at all.
How do we raise money? Most people work, or produce any service of some sort which is compensated with money. But there are also other forms, some have great ideas which are richly compensated, some are born in a rich family, or have rich partners, some let others work for them, or some receive gifts etc.
No matter how we put it, we cannot avoid money and we feel a lot better if we have enough money to be able to do anything we want, nothing wrong about that. But money can also be a restriction, for example if I believe not to be able to afford something due to a current lack of money. Things can come to us on all possible ways. If we are focused on money only, then we might keep the things away instead of magnetizing them and receive them as gift or inheritance or any other way.
Sometimes it is not even necessary to possess things to enjoy them. Dreaming about or imagining them could be quite as beneficial as possessing them. Or maybe a different situation in life gives us a much better experience than possessing this special object.
I personally quite often do fall back into the pattern of believing money would solve all my problems or make them much lighter. Then I think of a quotation from Orin*. That one helps me to look at the real problem and solve it instead of complaining about the lack of money. I only sometimes forget to remember it in time:
"Some people are motivated to make money because they think that
having it will take away their problems and lessons. You cannot live on earth
and avoid lessons; but you can learn them easily and with joy rather than
struggle. Developing the qualities of inner wisdom and peace will help you
see your problems as opportunities for growth, which will help you deal with
them more easily than having money ever will."
(* Orin is an energy being from a different dimension channeled by Sanaya
Roman).
In my opinion we do not solve our problems by few people having lots of money. Moreover we should consider a totally different system, maybe in the end with not needing money at all. We need to make sure everyone is doing well, not a few at the cost of all the others.
The system keeps us in prison by getting us to believe that a single person can escape by having tremendously great money supplies. "If I am prosperous, I made it, regardless of all the others". But that is not true. We all need to get out of it in order to be really free.
Indeed, this is difficult, as long as alternatives are missing for surviving
as a collective community. Not everybody can or wants to return to the primeval
forest. Our present system requires money because we are not supposed to escape.
We might pose the question: "Who keeps the system alive and why?"
