I would like to write about another experience I had last year. One afternoon I was cycling without a given goal and ended up in an area of the Berlin national park Friedrichshain which had never particularly interested me before. But that afternoon I discovered an exhibition about historic events within a walkable container. I felt like having a closer look and found documentations and information about the revolutions in Berlin of 1848.
The people in 1848 demanded freedom of the press, justice, equality etc. My jaw dropped when I read that because for a moment I felt confused, lost in time somehow because I had the impression this could also be demands from 2014. All of a sudden it became clear to me that history revolves itself. Again and again we reach a point in history when people demand freedom and fight for it and even give their lives for it. The details change in the course of the time but the basic model remains.
When I left the container I walked over to the cemetery of the March-fallen where some of the mostly young men are buried who left their life in 1848 in the street fighting of Berlin. Most of the graves could not be seen as they were buried by layers of earth over time except for two graves which had been excavated a few days ago. The commemorative tables with the names of the fallen were visible. Names which I also found on the Internet later in a list of all revolutionaries of 1848 buried there.
While standing in the middle of the former cemetery with all the graves underneath it was that I felt a moment of very deep silence and a deep connection with the spirits of the dead. The following message came into my mind: "Nobody has to die any more for freedom, nobody." It was, as if the dead people spoke to me in order to let me know that it is time to end the madness. Their message for me was: "How often shall history repeat itself? How often should people be turned against each other and kill each other?"
This message fit quite well because before that afternoon on the cemetery every now and then I felt like a revolutionary fighter. I imagined freeing this planet and how this fighting for freedom came from noble motives. Sometimes I even felt like giving my life for it if necessary. This was probably a subconscious memory of former lives in which I did exactly this, or maybe also the effect from eternal oaths of allegiance from other lives which were not released at that time.
Anyway, ever since I had that experience at the cemetery I lost the desire to be a freedom-fighter or to die for wrong ideals. I want peace. I would like to stop playing the freedom-struggle-death-game any longer. I wish for peace in myself, peace with my past and peace in my other lives.
Maybe now the time has come to aim at a final freeing but this time in the consciousness of many people instead of external fighting and killing. This time not in the form of fight, aggression, fury and the like, but by recognizing, seeing, and by dissolving the lie and living the truth.
Let us free ourselves from the everlasting recurring wheel of history. Let us change our behavior by causing the peaceful revolution in the minds of the people, within ourselves, within each single one of us. Let us consciously stop the game by withdrawing our energy from it, by stepping out of it.
Where are the real chains of our imprisonment? They are within our mind, in that what we were taught to think, in our dogmas holding this system straight. We create them in our consciousness. We are programmed, manipulated. We follow wrong value systems. All these things prevent us from knowing who we really are. This is how we keep us and each other in prison.
In order to get out we do not need to sacrifice our lives for wrong ideals but to let go e.g. of false teachings. To remember who we are we need to forget what they told us to be. We need to become aware of the manipulation. If we see more and more how we are used as match ball then we are able to avoid the game. The system has many tools to restrict us.
The most important ones are probably money and work. Both together are tools of control over us, actually letting us be more or less drudges. Many of us cannot imagine social structures without money with a totally different meaning of work. We are led to believe in the nonexistence of alternatives. As long as we look for solutions within the existing system, there seem to be no alternatives. And exactly this is intended, not to see solutions. Hence, a lot of effort is placed on preventing us to escape from this system, to prevent us from looking beyond the horizon, so we cannot see where the solutions are.
Solutions do exist. They are lived on other planets in other cultures. If we had contact with benevolent beings from this or other galaxies, it would certainly be simple to listen to their suggestions for well working alternatives and transform our lives. But this possibility is kept from us. So we need to figure out by ourselves on how to escape the existing system. How can we free ourselves?
By discovering and thus dissolving the subtle mechanisms that are keeping us there. This text and the examples in this book are meant to change one or the other person's perception. Our consciousness creates our reality. If we want change within our lives it needs to start within our consciousness.
Maybe conflicts will arise. Maybe we have to take a stand for our goals.
All this is called life and life does not stop once we change our thinking.
We will continue having the experiences we are meant to have by living on
this planet. But now is the time to figure out who we really are and why we
came here. It is time to bring light into the darkness which we have experienced
for so many millenniums. This is the spirit of the time right now.
