"Oh my god, I am so stuffy", I said to myself while observing myself in the middle of a group of socially weak people. I had suddenly realized that I believed myself to be better than those people, superior somehow and I did not feel like belonging there.
Erroneously I had taken that for self-esteem. But to feel superior only because of a better education or better financial means was probably due to the fact that I took the matrix's criteria to build up this pseudo self-esteem. We do have money, thus we are rich. We are educated, thus we are superior even though this might be delusion. I am not like the lowlife in front of me, I do have a social position, I do have symbols like a car, a house, a family etc. Thus I am worth a lot more than the person in front of me.
All these pseudo feelings of worth lead to the fact that I either despise my fellow men, or maybe I compete with them or I would like to excel them. All this leads to separation but not to self-esteem. If self-esteem is based on to what extent I fulfil the social norm, or to what extent I get recognition from other people, then it is something that makes us dependent on external factors.
If some of these external factors break away, e.g. because of losing our
job and suddenly receiving social welfare, or because of being left by our
partner, or a sudden lack of appreciation from others, then the self-esteem
is gone.
Thus, where does true self-esteem come from?
I found my answer in Paul Selig's books. Only when we begin to see the divine in our fellow human beings it is that we begin to recognize it within ourselves as well and are then able to open up for it. How can we ourselves be divine if we refuse the divine in our brother, in our sister? If we do this then we refuse our own divinity which leads to separation.
For me it was not easy to overcome this separation and quite often I see myself falling back into the old patterns. This appreciation of the divine within our fellow human beings needs to come from our heart. If we just talk ourselves into seeing the divine spark within the other but do not really feel it, then again, we just develop another norm to be obeyed to, a pseudo rule, like love thy neighbor like thyself. These rules are just rules and obeying does not lead to see the divine within the other.
In the books of Paul Selig the Christ's energy is anchored bit by bit in us at a speed that feels comfortable and only as much as we allow it to be. By saying "Word I am Word" we ask the Christ's energy to flow through us to support us in solving our issues.
By saying "Word I am Word through the people before me" or "Word I am Word through the situation before me" we open up to the Christ's energy and let it flow through us towards the people or the situation. We are not the ones to decide whether the other one is going to accept this energy. We only offer and the other person's Higher Self decides what to accept.
If I state this sentence when seeing people in front of me, then my heart opens and the separation dissolves. Suddenly it is there, the realization that this human being in front of me does have this divine spark, exactly as I am having it, too. Prejudices just dissolve, the programmed pseudo self-esteem vanishes. The part of me which makes me believe in being superior to the person in front of me melts away.
The beauty about this exercise is that a certain connectedness with the other person can be felt out of which a special esteem arises. This person did incarnate here and now because his or her soul wants to gain exactly this experience which is as valid as having my own experiences. Even though I might not be able to see what the other soul wants to learn right now, still, the encounter is divine.
Each one of us carries this divine spark inside. Once I recognize this spark within the other then a completely different sense of self-esteem arises. By recognizing the worth within the other our own sense of self-worth increases. That is true self-esteem independent from external factors. This worth originates within ourselves because we see the worth, and we see the divinity of the other one.
This self-esteem is incontrovertible, completely regardless of outer circumstances, independent from status symbols or approval. This self-esteem is based on the knowledge of the divinity being within every person. The idea of being superior does not arise any more, on the contrary, there is a joy of seeing everyone being here to live and express one's divine core.
From my experience the Christ's energy is a strong support if used to let it flow into different situations on earth for improvement. Every one of us does have the possibility to do so. Each one of us can be a channel for the Christ's energy.
In former times it was mostly only Jesus known as a channel for the Christ's energy manifesting it on earth. He was doing it as Jesus Christ. Today this powerful energy is available for anybody who would like to be a channel. More information on the Christ's energy can be found e.g. either on Paul Selig's website or in his books (http://paulselig.com).
Note: If we connect with unknown energy or let it flow through us then we do not necessarily know what to expect. It might happen that a manipulative energy is hidden behind or simply pushed in between. It also might be that a manipulative energy tries to discredit a connection of light in order to prevent us from receiving help.
As always it is a matter of listening to our inner voice, of being watchful and of paying attention to our emotions. A strict awareness is necessary. There is no right or wrong, there are only experiences. We cannot decide in general whether something is light or not. There might be a time when something is light and some other time it gets modified by a manipulation and it is not light any more or the other way around. Anything is possible.
From my experience it is helpful to always have the intention to connect with the light only. Additionally we should have the intention only to direct energy of light into situations without allowing our own shadow parts to subconsciously interfere with dark thoughts.
Once I was in a situation when it was a matter of supporting a group work. I was told it is best to be very aware in order to avoid letting my own conflicts flow into the group. It was about avoiding projecting e.g. anger onto the group. Of course I cannot permanently suppress my anger but there are times to actively solve conflicts and there are other times when it is important to remain neutral and be very aware in order to enable the achievement of a common goal.
In fact sometimes we are even triggered artificially to be annoyed in order
to avoid reaching a goal of light together with the group. Actually this happens
permanently on earth. We are kept in annoyance so we do not unite but fight
each other. This prevents peace in the world. True to the motto "Divide
and Conquer".
