When does healing happen and what does it mean?
I was told, everything is energy and everything can be changed, and miracles happen over and over again. However, we usually do not believe in miracles happening to us because we have had different experiences. Even if we experience one or the other miracle, we still tend to push it in the area of the impossible. What is the reason for such a behavior?
Before this incarnation our soul has planned for some challenges already and on having all the experiences linked to them. Such a challenge could for example be a physical impediment, or an emotional blockage, or something else. Thus, it is not about spiriting away these things but to experience and live them in order to get to know and perceive them. It is a matter of either accepting an issue or maybe of overcoming it once the experience has been made.
By the time we let go of no more required ballast we sometimes might realize that it was not possible to let go earlier. We were still sticking to old patterns, thus did not allow ourselves to overcome the blockages. Only after having recognized and therefore solved those patterns was it possible to let go.
Basically everything is energy and basically anything is possible. But who is responsible in deciding what is possible for us? This cannot be answered easily, because there are many factors responsible for it, e.g., our programming, our experiences, our old patterns, our karma, our soul, the subconsciously agreed upon collective will, and so forth.
How is this connected to the meaning of life? We are part of the creation and Source created us as individuals to fully experience itself in its entire beauty and perfection. That is how important we are, each single one of us. We are what Source wants to experience, to see, and to realize. We are the manifestation of the divine. Experiencing suffering does not seem divine, but still, even this is an expression of different potentialities. Anything is possible.
If there are moments when we feel like life does not make any sense, then it is exactly what we are meant to experience, to perceive completely how meaninglessness feels. It can be useful to fully dive into this experience, to dive into the meaninglessness. The acknowledgement of meaninglessness leads to its resolution and that is exactly the experience that wants to be made within that moment.
It is similar with the feeling of unfreedom. Even that one wants to be acknowledged, e.g. by perceiving it completely once it is there and therefore allowing it to dissolve. Sometimes emotions just want to be appreciated, pleasant ones as well as unpleasant ones.
That does not mean we have to accept everything without questioning it. Of course we are able to change things within our lives. We are the creator. However, what is happening right now is something we have already been creating in the past and we created it for the reason to experience exactly what we are living right now.
We probably did not do it consciously, at least not from our personality consciousness, but portions of ourselves that subconsciously determine what we create did it. If we were only creating from our personality self then we probably would avoid suffering.
The more carefully we observe what we have created so far the more are we then able to understand what we keep creating. I felt a deep intensity in the following exercise: For a short while be very conscious about the current moment and be very clear that this is exactly what you have created, it is exactly what you wanted to experience. Be very clear, you did create this. It is not about asking for the reason. Maybe as well, but this exercise is more about fully perceiving this moment of one's own creation.
This is how to accept what is and how to be fully present. If I am too busy asking why, then I might miss to appreciate the moment. The question 'why' can be answered later on. Quite often the question is answered by itself because the perception already is the answer, a more comprehensive answer. It is a wisdom anchored within the consciousness virtually bypassing the thinking mind. The thinking mind may sort it all out afterwards, it may arrange and value and that is its job. The thinking mind is very important, only in a different way than many of us are familiar with.
Everything is energy, everything is possible. It is up to each one of us to figure out what it means for every single one. What are our limits? Where are we forced to stick to the limits? How can we push the limits or eventually overcome them?
This is one of the games in life. It is about experiencing limitations and overcoming limitations. It is about perceiving oneself as the creator and about experiencing one's own creation in its entirety.
When are we entitled to receive healing? When are we entitled to let go of our troubles? As soon as we allow ourselves to do so, as soon as we free ourselves from limitations and let go of old patterns, as soon as we have learnt what was meant to be learned, as soon as we are ready everything is energy, everything is possible
Sometimes it takes a little longer, sometimes miracles happen, sometimes it is not possible to overcome limitations for what reason ever and then healing might mean to get along with it. Sometimes we need limitations to walk a path otherwise not chosen without this incentive or not walked at the same pace.
What is possible on this planet? What is possible under these circumstances? What is possible at this moment in time? Every one of us has to answer that for oneself, these are all games that want to be played. The divine wants to fully experience itself through each one of us. Let us discover the divine within each one of us, within every human we meet, and within all creations. This is our stage to play games. Everything is possible, everything is energy.
Sometime I receive energetic treatment to solve issues causing physical discomfort. Quite often after such a treatment I am very surprised about all the things that showed up and were resolved. However, it happens that the original afflictions are unchanged and still there. Occasionally this led to disappointment and I kept asking myself why all possible issues were solved except the cause of the discomfort.
I came to the conclusion that such a discomfort is sometimes used as an incentive to solve a number of matters we otherwise might ignore. Thus, it is more like the journey is the reward and everything we experience on the way, and not so much having reached the goal. The discomfort eventually dissolves, sometimes even unnoticed. I think it is helpful to observe what is happening on the way and therefore to extend the goal by being flexible and be open to see what life wants to show us instead or additionally.
If we visit the doctor in today's modern society we mostly want a pill that solves everything immediately. We want to continue behaving in the habitual way without changing anything. Mostly we did not learn that everything is connected and that anything happening in our life is part of a bigger picture. Healing happens if things get in order again, no matter how, it can happen through many things, e.g. school-medical methods, or just a conversation, or a sunrise, or a foreign person, or a miracle, or placebos, and so forth.
If some people think one or the other healing method is a waste of money, then we cannot know this. It could be an important piece in the puzzle falling in place in a totally different context and lead to healing then. Healing happens only if it is the right time. Sometimes this seems tedious but we might still need one or the other experience before being able to let go in order to heal.
I remember the first time when I witnessed an energetic constellation. Back then there was a woman with pain in her wrist. She considered having an operation. However, she wanted to check whether an energetic constellation might solve it instead. Thus, her problem's cause and solution was collected as energy and placed on a chair.
Another person sat on that chair respectively went into that energy and sensed what was coming up. I was surprised to hear what could cause an ache in the wrist. It was about disputes within her family and some people pulled and tugged her. Never before had I had the idea that such things could cause physical pain.
Back then my idea of solving it was to have an operation and everything is in order again. The idea of reintegrating this person into her family and therefore to avoid an operation was completely new to me.
Meanwhile I have participated in so many energetic constellations that I take it for granted that everything around us can affect our condition. Any entanglement can lead to discomfort. There are infinite possibilities. From my experience a lot can be solved by considering the energetic connections as well.
Not everything can always be cured immediately though. Hence, I like a story told by Natalie Sudman during an interview with Bob Olson. Natalie had a near death experience after a roadside bomb hit her truck in Iraq. She then left her body and went to a sort of healing environment.
There her Higher Self and a familiar energetic being were joking around. They were playing with different possible injuries Natalie could keep when returning to life. They imagined how funny it would be for Natalie to have only one eye or one arm and at the same time they were able to see all the experiences Natalie would be having with such handicaps.
Back in life Natalie was not able to remember why in the end she kept exactly those injuries she did have to deal with for a while after the accident. But she was aware that she herself respectively a higher aspect of herself had chosen those in order to have the according experiences.
Natalie says it is helpful to remember this in order to be confident during the recovery process. Although she has forgotten what they are, she still knows there are reasons for her choices. If we keep that in mind when we are in pain it might be a lot easier to deal with it. Sooner or later there is healing one way or the other. Eventually it is time to leave this body. This can be healing as well.
Of course, at the moment of pain or any other unpleasant situation we rather tend to disagree with having that experience because we are in the middle of it. Only if we look from a distance, e.g. sometime later, are we able to put this into the right perspective.
If we are able to already build up such a distance at the exact moment of pain by observing the ache without identifying then it might be a lot easier to deal with it. There is a difference between pain and suffering. We suffer if we either cling to the pain or fight it. Pain cannot be avoided, whereas suffering can. It is a matter of practice and therefore such practice can be healing as well.
A further story regarding healing: Recently I went to an ophthalmologist. It was my first visit and so I had to fill in a form. As profession I wrote 'consultant'. Later the doctor asked me what kind of consulting I am doing. Among other things I told him that I give energetic advice and the doctor spontaneously answered while laughing: "Ok, you let the sun shine onto the house".
He told me that he was only joking and I should not take it so seriously. Regardless of the doctor's ridiculing somehow I liked it because it touched me although I could not put into words what it was exactly that touched me at that point in time. Thus I began to reflect when the sun had begun to shine onto my house to brighten it up.
My imagination was as follows: There was light everywhere leading to the fact that all of a sudden I could see all the things in my house that were not in order. Then I let the air in and beat the carpets clean. Everything that was swept under the rug before and was lying dormant did now appear and could not hide any more.
I was forced to clean up, to clear up, and to throw the needless ballast out of my house. That was all visible now as soon as the light shone onto my house. I was able to see again where it was a matter of repairing things, or repainting, or even rearranging pieces of furniture differently.
Once I let the light shine onto my house I might have a terrific job ahead of me because I might then dislike what appears. I guess this is what has been happening to me during the last years. The more light shines onto my house the more I can see what needs to be fixed, the less can hide and slumber in some corners causing unwanted conditions within my sub-consciousness.
From this perspective I absolutely like the statement of my doctor. I love to let the sun shine onto my house. Positive thinking is seen from a different perspective.
Regarding positive thinking I also remember a conversation with a friend. He complained about this and that. Instead of confirming his complaint I always suggested a way in which to see things positively. After a while he said unnerved to me: "Yes, one can gain something positive out of everything". Ok, I thought, it is probably better to join his game and confirm his moaning. He immediately felt better.
In hindsight, however, I ask myself why we do not rather focus on the positive aspects which can be found within all matters? How come, we are so focused on the negativity? Probably because it is the way we were taught to deal with things. It has always been like that. Thus, we carry on complaining.
I do not absolve myself from this behavior although I would like to see more
occasions when we let the sun shine onto our house in the way my doctor had
intended it to be originally with his joke. If we then are able to see what
is really behind it all, we then can begin to clean up our life and to be
healthy again. Thus, healing could mean "I let the sun shine onto
my house".
