For a long time I did have a rather negative idea about wealth. I had this fairy tale of king Midas in mind. The one who had the wish that everything he touches turns into gold. In the end he threatens to starve because he cannot touch his food any more.
I associated concepts like swank and splendor with wealth and thought wealth to be equated with the possession of great sums of money or earthly goods like houses, properties, cars, yachts and the like. Therefore, I avoided wishing wealth. And because I had falsely thought I needed wealth to experience abundance I was not able to open up to the abundance of life either.
In the German language the words wealth and abundance both translate to the same which is called Reichtum in German. Therefore it is not as easy to distinguish what is really meant if we talk about Reichtum and there is a lot of negativity linked to it in the German language. I wrote this chapter to clarify that I mean the abundance of life and not the avarice that Germans might have in mind when the term Reichtum is used.
In the following text I use the German word Reichtum. Otherwise the
translation would not make sense:
However, Reichtum can also be considered in quite another way. An energy
stone helped me to understand it. This energy stone is charged with the frequency
of Reichtum. In the beginning I thought if I only get enough of these
stones, money and possession comes quite automatically to me. But it did not
work that way because the frequency was not what I mistakenly took for Reichtum.
These energy stones are very helpful to rediscover the original meaning of a concept. Another example is the energy stone sleeping. This stone does not have the effect of a sleeping pill as one might expect it. The frequency of sleeping rather made me experience my dreams more vividly. Furthermore I slept in a rhythm that did not fit at all into the pattern which is needed to be a robot getting up every morning to function. Overall this stone encouraged me to sleep in my own rhythm and to perceive sleep much more intensely.
I also had to realize that the energy stone Reichtum did not encourage me to accumulate material goods or large sums of money. It was the opposite, I started to need less. There was no renunciation necessary. It rather happened automatically by letting go of the attachments.
Once we become aware of our dependence the process already starts. If we then loose interest in a thing it becomes quite easy to let got. There is a saying "Letting go is the key to happiness" and in this context it makes sense. It is not the accumulation of possession which enables abundance but the letting go of attachments.
Once we detach from these allegedly enriching things then we are open again for all the things life really has to offer. All that life gives to us can then be fully appreciated and accepted and we can let go at any time and be open for new gifts which life wants to present us with. That is my idea of Reichtum and what I experienced from the frequency of the energy stone.
Sometimes the old patterns return and I fall for the misbelief in thinking to be more easily able to solve my challenges with money but only to notice that I fell into the trap again. It is not in such a way that I need the money first in order to be able to do things. It is about remaining open for all the possibilities in which abundance would like to appear.
If I possess large sums of money I might possibly have Reichtum or
I might not have it. If I have Reichtum then I might possess large
sums of money or I might not. Reichtum does not depend on money but
it means to accept the abundance of life in its fullness in all areas.
