What to do about Outrage?

2014/04/28: Outrage was my subject that day. I had watched an interview with a historian which caused huge outrage in me. I got to know how the Federal Republic of Germany takes part in illegal wars of aggression. Additionally how we are deceived when it comes to false flag events like 9/11 and a lot more.

What remains after such an interview? There is an internal outrage, an internal fury, an urge to change the world and a desire to tell everyone what has just been revealed to me. One thinks that everybody must know this, that we finally need to do something, and that we finally need to stand up and say: "Enough, I do not allow this to happen any longer".

But what happens instead? We are not able to reach the people. Apparently nothing changes and we feel helpless. Everything carries on as before and people can easily be further deceived … this is how it has been for centuries. It is not that it just started now. It only becomes more obvious by having more and more lies uncovered.

Some people have already been fighting almost all of their life for more clarification and truth. I am sometimes surprised to see what people already pointed out 10, 20 or even more years ago in books or videos. I myself did not notice any of it back then although there already were people uncovering manipulation and lies. Only the masses did not pay attention including myself.

However, currently there is a trend noticeable. The masses are starting to wake up. The term Whistleblower becomes more and more popular. Many people cannot function in certain dishonest environments any longer. More and more truth is revealed. And still there is seething unrest in me if I hear theses outrageous stories about deception and intrigues and apparently nobody seems to take an interest in them or wants to change anything.

Sometimes I succeed in calming down again and carry on with what I am doing. But other times I just feel helpless. I would dearly like to protect this wonderful planet from the influence of our destructive life but then I do not know how.

All my shouting, all my attempts to explain things seem to bounce off the people. No matter how I try, either by being outraged, or through energetic meditation, or through experience reports, or through books, all of it seems to be in vain. I have got the feeling of not being able to reach the people. Then I withdraw again in order to find my balance and to gather strength from my inner calmness.

This cycle recurs currently: outrage, activism, rest, internal peace, outrage and so on. One thing is certainly to learn how to stay calm no matter what happens around us but there is also this longing for change.

Anyway, if I manage to stay balanced it is certainly easier to listen to my inner voice which lets me know when to be active and when I should remain passive.

Maybe these emotional cycles serve as training to be able to take in the information and to expose the lies on the one hand and to still be able to quickly balance on the other hand in order to act from deep calmness when the time is right for action.

I cannot see the big picture and I have no idea what the collective consciousness wants to experience. I personally currently undergo times which tear me to and fro. On the one hand I think I need to actively rescue the planet and on the other hand I feel like first finding my own peace in order to be able to take it to the outside world.
Is this a usual thing in a turn of an era? Is it because we still got one leg in the old world and one already in the new and thus are permanently torn to and fro?

Many questions, not so many answers, yet. But it helps to calm down and be balanced no matter how outraging the exposed lies might be.

More and more truth will come to light. Probably I will still be furious and outraged from time to time when I become aware of even more lies we were told. However, I should find ways to deal with such emotions instead of allowing them to take control over me.

Even if we apparently do not reach anybody, energetic fields of truth are building up and they do extend more and more. Eventually critical mass will be reached and then there will be the shift in consciousness despite of me currently feeling impatient. Well, that is also a valuable experience which wants to be made.

Note: After writing about outrage I found some other possibilities to deal with reactions like outrage, annoyance, fury, timidity etc. in the talks by Anthony de Mello on the subject Rediscovering Life: If we become aware of being programmed or trained to react to certain events the way we usually do then we are able to change our behavior.

In order to change our behavior we firstly have to notice how we are programmed exactly at the moment of our reaction which means we have to be present. Thus, I need to notice once I start upsetting myself without getting lost in it. Let alone the fact that we know how we react in a certain way if someone presses a button leads to having a different choice in that moment.

Usual respectively trained patterns of behavior are for example to feel hurt once we are rejected, or to be sad if someone leaves us, or to be furious if we are insulted, or to be upset if we are lied to etc.

But do we have to react in that way? For example if we stand in a line and someone breaks the line should we tell the person off? Yes, why not? But should we upset ourselves for it? Should we raise our blood pressure and harm ourselves? Should we punish ourselves for someone else doing something wrong? Is it logical to punish ourselves although we are innocent? Besides, the question is, are we acting cool-headed if our action is based on being upset? Maybe things will get even worse than better.

Nobody is saying we should do nothing but it is not about wasting our energy in being upset. If there is injustice then it is a calamity. If we upset ourselves then we are adding a second calamity. Wouldn't it be better to solve the first one without adding another one?

So, if there is a moment of being upset because of a person or an event, it might be helpful to remember that we are programmed to react with being upset. If we then hold on and take on the role of the observer we automatically stop upsetting ourselves by seeing the programming.

Thus there are many possibilities on how to act. Sometimes it might be necessary to explicitly feel every emotion that is coming up. Sometimes blockages need to be released and sometimes it is enough to just realize it is the programming that is causing the upset to release it immediately.

Besides it might be necessary to take action to change a situation but that does not require upsetting ourselves in order to do it.

However, in the reverse in our culture we might believe that we have to upset people in order to get them going. This can be the case but it can also lead to the fact that people waste their energy in being upset instead of acting beneficially and therefore create more damage than doing good.
